Deadline for submissions to Spark! fueling a love of birds

Today’s the day! Submit artworks in any media, by new or returning artists, of any age, to our Spark! fueling a love of birds 2023 art show by 11:59 PM!

The Birds of Vermont Museum’s 2023 art show seeks works that tell the story of your “spark moment” as it relates to birds, birding, conservation, science, art, love, or something else. Many birders—and artists—have a “spark” moment that fueled a lifelong love of birds and birding and took them in unexpected directions. What’s your spark story? How did you start combining birds, birding, art, and science in your art? Does it show in your work?

Creators can submit up to 3 pieces for consideration by using our online form at https://tinyurl.com/bovm-spark.  Each work submitted should be accompanied by a few sentences about the “spark”, as well as your contact info and a brief description of the piece (type, media, when made). Entries are due by Monday, March 20, 2023, 11:59 PM

The art show runs from May to October at the Birds of Vermont Museum.
