SUMMARY:Green Mountain Woodcarvers 52nd Annual Show
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate woodcarving! \nAt the show\, discover some of the variety of styles and techniques possible: from caricature carving to wildfowl\, birds to Scandinavian flat plane carvings. Demonstrations are planned throughout the day of carving styles and methods. This is a good opportunity to learn how woodcarvers\, using simple hand tools\, transform a block of wood into a piece of art. Kids activities and crafts will be available too. \nThe Show also has space for vendors\, and other artisans working with wood products. Members exhibiting in GMWC annual show come from all over New England. Other woodcarving clubs are often represented! including the New England Woodcarvers and Maine Woodcarvers. \nPlease note: this event is outdoors\, weather permitting. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
