Wee Pumpkin Woodcarving Workshop

Carve a stack of tiny whimsical pumpkins with Dave Tuttle at this woodcarving workshop. All levels welcome. Great for adults and teens. Younger kids need parental permission. Great skill-building for Scouts and 4-H.

Bring tools, gloves, and lunch. (Contact us if you will need tools or gloves.)

Register and pay in advance : $35 for Museum and GMWC members • $45 for everyone else. Museum and GMWC members should use the code sent to their email.

Class size limited to 10. (Minimum 5 students needed to hold a session.)

If class fills, please join the waitlist. When we get 5 or more people on a waitlist, we try to arrange additional sessions.

Barn Owl Needle Felting Workshop

Needle-felted Barn Owl, created by Grace Safford. It is mostly white, with a yellow beak, an ochre heart-shaped edge to its facial disk, and some light brown speckling on its breast. The owl sits on a reddish barn-board style table top, with some iron scroll-work behind it.

Complement the Great Backyard Bird Count with your own bird to bring home!

Skilled felter Grace Safford will lead us in making a barn owl from wool. Materials provided.

Mini Vulture Needle Felting Workshop

Beginners welcome; materials and instruction provided. We’ll also share why vultures are SO awesome!

Natural and whimsical colors possible. A bowtie for your Vulture is entirely optional.
