June One-Day Carving Class with Dave Tuttle (alternate session)

Carve and paint in wood during this one-day carving class! Wood blank and paint provided.

What are you carving? A shorebird! Can you identify it?

All levels welcome. Great for adults and teens. Younger kids need parental permission. Great skill-building for Scouts and 4-H.

Bring mask, tools, gloves, and lunch. (Contact us if you will need tools or gloves; Dave often brings some to sell.)

Must register and pay in advance: $35 for Museum and GMWC members • $45 for everyone else. Use Eventbrite to pay for your place or click the button below; Museum and GMWC members may receive their member discount as a refund at the door.

Class size limited to 10.



Class will be held outside if weather permits.

Class size limited. Masks required when indoors or within 6′ of each other (if outdoors). UPDATE! Because Vermont has been so diligent about getting vaccinated, we increased class size to 10.

Saturday, November 10 • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Come to a one-day carving class with David Tuttle of the Green Mountain Woodcarvers. We will carve and paint a White-breasted Nuthatch. Wood blank, eyes, snacks, and coffee provided.

No carving experience required! Beginners are as welcome as experts. Do bring your tools and gloves if you have them; if you don’t, let us know. Dave often brings some knives, gloves, etc. to sell.

Great for teens and adults. $25 for Museum and GMWC members • $35 for everyone else. Call 802 434-2167 to pre-register.

Every Saturday from 1-2, upstairs in the Museum workshop.
