Mini Owl Needle Felting Workshop

Needle-felt a thumb-sized owl. Natural and whimsical colors possible. Hats for the owls are optional!

Beginners welcome; materials and instruction provided.

Sliding scale/choose your fee: $25 – $45 (includes class, your owl, and a felting needle to take home).

Ages: 8 and up (needles are sharp!)

Pop-Up Soap Carving

Stop by and try your hand at soap carving! Super easy to get started!

Instructions, tools and materials provided.  Suitable for any age.
Masks recommended (keeps soap out of your nose, too).
All ages • Great for kids on their early dismissal days

Stop by at 1:00pm or at 1:45pm

J. Malone led a group of Girl Questers in making an entire exhibit of felted birds.

Gather with a few fellow handcrafters at the Museum this winter. Bring your own project: woodcarving, knitting, sketchbook, quilting, poems-in-progress, field notebook, crochet, etc. Tea, coffee and good company provided.

Suggested donation: $5 towards heat
Max 9 each session (may change based on COVID-19 cases in Vermont)

Do you create with fibers? Do you have a thing for birds, science, or conservation? We do too and we hope you’ve sent us something for our show!
