Barn Owl Needle Felting Workshop

Needle-felted Barn Owl, created by Grace Safford. It is mostly white, with a yellow beak, an ochre heart-shaped edge to its facial disk, and some light brown speckling on its breast. The owl sits on a reddish barn-board style table top, with some iron scroll-work behind it.

Mini Vulture Needle Felting Workshop

Beginners welcome; materials and instruction provided. We’ll also share why vultures are SO awesome!

Natural and whimsical colors possible. A bowtie for your Vulture is entirely optional.

And to show the process for needle felting these “mini” birds, here are some pictures of the mini-owls we made last year, from rough cylinder to a finished owl, and then many more from the class!a sequence of 4 needle felted mini-owls in progress, from the core to a color applied to one with eyes, to a finished owl. Each is roughly cylindrical and about 1" tall.
